Type of Play
After an 18-Hole qualifying round, contestants will be divided into flights of 16 teams. The format will be Four-Ball Match Play. Thursday Qualifying will be played from the Blue Tees. Friday-Sunday the Championship Flight and First Flight will play the Black Tees and all other Flights will play the Blue Tees. White Tees may be played if you are 75 years of age or older.
Consolation Flights
Consolation in all flights will be arranged for first round losses. First round matches will be under Four-Ball Match Play rules. All participants that have 1 loss coming into Sunday play a Best Ball Modified Stableford format to determine the winner of consolation bracket. Out of town teams will play on Sunday morning to assist with travel times.
Times of Play
Thursday Qualifying Day will be Tee Times starting at 8:00 a.m. Friday through Sunday will be Shotgun starts at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Championship Flight, Flight 1 and Flight 2 will play in the 1:30 PM shotgun on Friday and Saturday.
Flight 3, Flight 4 and Flight 5 will play in the 8:00 AM shotgun on Friday and Saturday.
Sudden-Death Four-Ball Playoff Format
All Flights except the Championship shall use the following format for deciding a winner if the match is tied after 18 Holes:
The best-ball of the match decides the winner. If the best ball of the playoff hole is tied, the match will then be decided by the partners score. If the low ball score is tied and the partners score is tied, go to the next hole.
